Tested matings
Updated on 22. 09. 2024
In addition to the information about the parents and the data you need to contact the kennel of your choice, you can find the genetic results of the mating here:
Matching score: this is determined using over 1,000 genetic markers and indicates how well the parents harmonize with each other genetically (100% here means: the animals are as little related to each other as possible, so they complement each other perfectly). A matching score between 100% and at least 95% is desirable.
DLA haplotypes: DLA haplotypes (Dog Leukocyte Antigens) are important for the animal's immune system. A high diversity of DLA haplotypes is advantageous, which means that the more heterozygous combinations can be found, the better. Specifically: 100% heterozygous DLA combinations are better than 50% or 25% or 0%.
Genetic map: here each animal is represented by a point that graphically represents its genetic positioning within the breed. The puppies of a mating are genetically located within a circle around the center of the connecting line between the two parents. Ideally, this circle falls in an area where there are no or only a small number of dogs.
